I’m testing my new gopro and took a short, one hour video of a trail ride I did on my MTB the other day (while the temps are above freezing). Average speed was just under 20mph, which I’m happy with given all the people and turns out there. The wind was blowing pretty hard too.
I think I’m going to use this loop to measure my fitness and skills next year. It’s good to pick a climb, course, or trail ride like this and track your progress over time. I’m most interesting in the time it takes to do the loop. That takes into account, power, body position, cornering, and using the terrain to keep the speed up.
