Those shoes look like they mean business!
Did the Bologna TT tonight. Started 5 in the D pen. I took off and had about 12” lead when I hit the start of the climb. The lady who ended up winning isn’t on Zwiftpower but she passed me like I was sitting still and averaged 2.8-3.0 the entire climb. I think she was on a dumb trainer but it was a good challenge. I didn’t have it in me to keep up so I did surges and tried to stay in zone 4. Bested my time by almost 4.5’ so I’ll take it.
And rode for the first time in my new shoes. Need to adjust the clear position slightly forward on my left foot (the larger one) and slightly back on my right.
Well done on the race @vivian.a.workman!
Look at that start, just like we talked about @vivian.a.workman! Excellent and congrats on a big PR!
Thanks. I might be able to push it another minute or so but would still have been caught on that climb. I was happy with what I was able to hold but I think had there been more racers I probably could have pushed a bit more. Probably divide the efforts up a bit more. Now the next one should play to my strengths as it’s flat.
Fantastic @vivian.a.workman!! Great racing and great technique!!! Congrats!!
excellent @vivian.a.workman. Looking forward to the next race report.
Another TT this time on Tempus Fugit. Held a pretty consistent power for the TT. Probably could have pushed it a bit more but the fatigue from the GVRAT is catching up.
Anyway took 2nd in D to a definite C racer (checked out her zwiftprofile pre race) so losing by 26” doesn’t bother me.
Late day at work, I didn’t get home until 7:30 so my normal pre race got thrown out the door.
But it was a new kit day and I love it.
Nice work @vivian.a.workman! Strong performance even with fatigue in the legs!!
Congrats @vivian.a.workman on a really strong race!! Well Done!!
