Hey all, wondering what road bikes you all ride outdoors? I’m eyeing up a 2022 Specialized Aethos Pro on Pro’s Closet. I rode a 2024 version last fall in Girona and I loved it. Many years ago, I rode a Roubaix, which I also loved. My two outdoor bikes right now are a Cervelo Aspero gravel bike – gorgeous bike, but a bit heavy and slightly big for me (it was a COVID purchase and pickings were slim!). I also ride a used Backroads (touring) bike that we got cheap a couple years ago. I’d like to get a proper road bike and I wouldn’t mind a used one to save some cash. I’m open to advice!

I currently ride a GURU titanium road bike. They are sadly no longer in business. I am eyeing @Petals specialized bike and may make a trip to her this summer to try it out. I am of no help.

Colnago is my favorite frame because of its geometry (it’s my favorite fit) and just how it rides. I have a V3Rs (road) and a G3-X (gravel).
I also have a Trek Madone 9 (road), and a Trek Boone (cyclocross). I haven’t ridden the Treks in many years. Even the smallest Trek frame is too big for me. I am 5’3.5” and for some reason the Trek geometry doesn’t work well for me.

@Coach_Theia we must be differnt body types, though I don’t have a Trek, the ones i’ve ridden on bike trips have fit me well. So we are nearly the same “size” but pur geometry is different. I think I have a long toro and shorter legs.

I ride a Liv Avail and really like it. It’s served me well through a 200-mile race and a couple of 24-hour races.

My road bike is a Ruby, the female version of Roubaix. My gravel bike is a Diverge. Love both.

I have an Argon 18 SUM for my IRL bike and I love it but hard to get A18’s now in the US
I rode a Cube Attain Di2 in Mallorca and it was really nice - although they put me on a slightly smaller frame than my A18 and i think it was a tad short - i think my legs are slightly longer for my 5’4” height than most people
