Hahahaha! James does the cooking but I do at least half the meal planning and almost all of the gardening. We make a good team!
After our Zoom call and realizing how much protein I should get, I’m trying to add more protein powder into foods that I can. I’d rather eat Whole Foods but that seems so much harder
Quinoa, oatmilk, vanilla protein powder, banana, peach and blueberries topped with ground flaxseeds. 25g protein!
I have a chocolate one I use to make chocolate milk. If I don’t use enough milk it’s like a mousse.

Tinned tuna (Hannah is away so had no one to prep fresh fish) quinoa and a salad of red pepper, radish, carrot and cucumber
Tonight’s post workout meal was Soya ‘kebab meat’ with courgette, carrot, peas and tomatoes in a gf beetroot wrap
I have no pictures of food. It was so hot yesterday that I didn’t eat or drink correctly. It showed on the ODivaZ ride today. oooof.

Monday was a bit of a rest day so rice/quinoa, fish and broccoli.
Yesterday a bit more intense so I had brick oven pizza and salad for both lunch and dinner. I also enjoyed a tasty microbrew from the newest brewery from my home area. I did 30’ on the bike followed by 4 miles. Finished off the last third of the pizza with the salad after the run.
Felt good this am, ate a strawberry honeystinger waffle pre run then had my coffee with Saigon cinnamon and a touch of creamer. Plan to break soon for lunch.
Plan for a 5k walk around 5 then I’ll have a snack (probably PB sandwich) before the USACTT tonight.
I finally cooked and remembered to take a pic! Fresh fettuccine with chard, red onion, garlic, toasted walnuts, currants and golden raisins, and brown butter topped with Parmesan. (Could substitute something with a little smoky flavor like tamari-roasted tofu in place of the butter, and leave cheese off for vegan.) Mixed lettuces and chicories with the most scrumptious local strawberries (heirloom variety called Mara Des Bois), cucumbers, and toasted almonds. Wonderful local sourdough, daily special had olives and lemon. Local Rose.
Oh my! Make my mouth water!

This looks yummy. Rolling through the prior responses gave me some good recipe ideas. Right now I just finished a 60 minute ride on Zwift (spent an hour on VenTop). Gonna make me a nice smoothie now. Can’t wait for our training sessions to start on Aug 24.

Seitan stuffed with vegetables–summer squash, green beans, broccoli maybe? I have no idea what James put in there but it was good, with a little stone ground mustard. Also some melon, and kale chips seasoned with nutritional yeast.
